Road trip: Romania – Part II

On my road trip to Romania I played many roles. I was the guide, the driver, the translator, the GPS, the time keeper, the photographer, the sister, the daughter, the focused one, the tired one and the happy one. It was also a very vulnerable moment for me because this was the first time my best friends came to my home, the place I grew up, the place I got my education, I had my struggles and enjoyed my childhood. I was wondering what will they say, how will they feel, will they understand me better after seeing where I come from, why I am how I am…?! I didn’t try to live up to any expectations, I just presented everything as it was or still is: authentic, chaotic, emotional, tasty and beautiful.
